Hello, I’m Vimla Devi, from the beautiful hills of Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. Knitting has been a part of my life for over 20 years. I began by making sweaters, hats, and scarves for my children, and later for my grandson. What started as a necessity soon became a passion and a way to express love through every stitch.

Over the years, knitting has grown into something much more than a hobby for me—it has become a source of joy, creativity, and peace. Each pattern I create carries with it a little bit of my heart, along with the tradition of handmade work that I deeply value.

Through this space, I wish to share free knitting patterns with everyone who loves the craft. You’ll find cozy beanies, stylish headbands, and other easy projects that beginners can enjoy while also inspiring experienced knitters to explore new designs.

To make the process easier, I’ll also be including abbreviation guides with my patterns. This way, even if you are new to knitting, you can follow along without confusion and slowly build confidence in reading patterns step by step.
